Weinor Quality

High-grade, innovative products and excellent service for discerning customers – this is what Weinor is all about. Whilst many competitors talk of quality, Weinor is already delivering it, and doing so out of true conviction and passion. The company’s engineers and technicians alike are quality fanatics – working as they do to meet and exceed customers expectations. After all, the customer expects to enjoy the sun protection products for as long as possible.

With this in mind, all the screws and bolts found in Weinor products are, needless to say, are made of stainless steel. The arm joints in the flat awnings are made of a special, non-rusting, drop-forged aluminium alloy. Drop forging is a technique used in aircraft manufacturing and is second to none when it comes to reliability. Our competitors tend to use only cast pasts, make sure you insist on drop forged parts to ensure reliability, safety and longevity of your shade system. The arm joint are assembled using long life Dyneema tape which is virtually stretch proof ensuring tension stays in your fabric for the life of the awning! Weinor have tested their arms to 100 000 cycles which is approx 20yrs of use. Make sure you insists on quality arms on your folding arm awnings as this is vital for ensuring they do not break in windy conditions or get effected by outdoor environmental factors. This means that they can stand up to the harshest of weather conditions that Australia can throw at them! . What’s more, since Weinor products undergo a special powder coating process in façade quality, they are supplied with an effective weatherproof, anti-corrosion and scratch resistant coating.

A key factor in ensuring Weinor products are the highest quality standard is down to the control we have in our manufacturing processes. Weinor have 2 high tech powder coating lines, one in each of our factories. We do not rely on another company to do this for us! Also, every department within the Weinor factory is a supplier to the next. Each section is responsible for the “quality” of the parts its being provided from the earlier “supplier”. This means if it’s not good enough, it gets rejected and made again. This ensures the product you get at the end of the day is perfect in every way!

That’s why you won’t find Weinor in your DIY store.

DIY awnings or inferior quality imported awnings are not what we stand for. As one of Germany’s leading awning manufacturers, we depend on top quality products. You can only buy weinor awnings from authorised dealers, with installation included and carried out professionally and in compliance with statutory regulations. After all, we stand to lose our good name as a superior quality brand.

What this means for you is that weinor provides a tailor-make ultimate sun protection solution. Our wide range of products means we can overcome any shade or design issue. So, every awning that leave our German factories is an individual unit, matched to your exact design wishes and the building it is to be installed onto.

Our awnings are sold exclusively through specialist dealers. That way, everything from advice to installation is in the capable hands of one supplier. Unlike the “DIY method”, it can save you in the long run. Inferior quality awnings are a danger to everyone you have over enjoying your back deck or Patio!
